Yarn Bowl!

My dear friend Kirsten (hi KK!) sent me an absolutely gorgeous yarn bowl! It arrived two days ago and I can't stop staring at it. Look!

It was hand thrown by Christine Tenenholtz, the creative genius behind the etsy shop Red Hot Pottery. I absolutely love the colours in the glaze.

It's a fantastic size too - it's been a while since I've seen one, but I'm pretty sure a softball could roll around in there quite comfortably. The yarn guide is gorgeous and seems quite strong.

I'm in pottery love! You may have seen it in yesterday's shop update - it makes a great photo prop. However, I'm mostly just excited to pop a ball of colourful yarn in there and watch it go nowhere at all while I knit up a storm! Thanks Kirsten!
