The Everything Old line of hand dyed yarns and fibres is focused on bringing spectacular colour together with luxurious, high quality bases. I choose yarns based on several qualities - softness, wearability, durability, and appearance. I try to keep a diverse range of spinning fibres available as well, and focus on choosing quality preparations that are true to breed and free of felting. I don't sell products that I wouldn't love to work with myself.
Yarn Bases
Stratus:
Stratus is a lovely, soft superwash Merino wool laceweight. It has a slightly loose twist, which enhances the open appearance of delicate lace and gives the knitted fabric a soft hand. It takes colour with gusto!
100% Superwash Merino - 800m/875yd per 100 gram skein - lace weight - $22
Witchcraft:
A truly luxurious yarn. Silk, superwash Merino wool, and stellina, a silver synthetic, are blended perfectly for a soft, drapey, and strong laceweight yarn that shines and glitters! Colours appear slightly muted and softened.
