It's not his fault he looks like a hipster. He can't help being all skinny and beardy and glasses-wearing. |

FO Parade: An Heroic Encounter
I finally FINALLY finished Jacob's sweater. Finally. According to my Ravelry notes, I started it in February. Yay! This means I completed my goal of knitting a sweater for everyone in the family this year!
The pattern is Ann Budd's Hero Pullover, and the yarn is Briggs and Little Tuffy. The pattern was a simple knit - I converted it into knitted in the round, rather than seamed, and modified the sleeve increases to make them less baggy. The yarn is a workhorse - it's cheap, durable, and scratchy, although a good soak in hair conditioner took care of much of the roughness and made it smell like a freshly washed lady. Just what your manly man wants his manly man sweater to smell like. Although he pointed out that anyone who noticed he was wearing a new sweater probably also smells like a lady, so there's that.
